Our mentors have the opportunity to build healthy relationships with young people eager for adult guidance, and have a positive impact on their lives. The “collective mentoring” approach rather than the traditional one-on-one model was developed to ensure relationships with the kids are consistent and long-term. Our mentors are strong role models and caring advocates who provide life-changing support and unconditional caring and acceptance.
Do you know a child between the ages of 11 and 13 who has been separated from their parent due to incarceration, death, divorce, ICE Detention, foster care?
Parents/Guardians, caregivers, teachers, counselors, or social workers can initiate the enrollment process. Children may be enrolled in Village of Promise at any time during the year.
